Drag racing’s premier event in Malaysia – Sepang Drag Battle opens its new season this Saturday (20 February) at the Sepang circuit, five championship rounds and offers six categories of competencies, including a special category for street cars up to 2000cc legal. Celebrating its sixth year this season, the event, which is the only event sanctioned by Malaysia Motorsports Drag Race Governing Council, the Automobile Association of Malaysia (AAM), also opens also opened Street Legal turbocharged 2000cc engine, but competition within themselves in a separate class called Category FX.
Besides the two categories of legal road cars, the other categories are Class A for cars with unlimited engine capacity, Class B two-wheel drive vehicles with unlimited capacity, class C, for vehicles up 2000cc and Class D for compact cars.

Entry for spectators is RM10 for seats in the Main Grandstand and RM50 in the paddock, where fans can have a closer look at the average of machines participating in the event.
